Large shutters keep the house safe from the elements, but they can also be opened to expose the interior rooms of the house, which is ideal for when the home owners wish to entertain.

Hidden behind the shutters in this section of the house is the kitchen, with a built-in fire oven, and a dining room. There’s also a small space to sit by the hanging fireplace.

The kitchen opens directly onto the deck of the swimming pool. At the other end of the swimming pool is a grassy lawn. At night, the trees, swimming pool and exterior of the home are all lit up.

Just to the side of the swimming pool is the living room and another dining area. This open floor plan also opens up on the other side to a section of tropical plants.

Carrying on from the living room is a wall of shutters that open up to reveal the bedrooms of the home. They’re also accessible from the interior of the home via a hallway.
